Education is the most enduring support that helps young people to live their lives independently. The right to education is enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and improving educational opportunities is one of the UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Our vision is that every young person should have the chance of a good education. Our contribution to achieving this goal is through educational projects in Senegal and Germany.

I would like to thank the NGO Kaay Teeky and AHM for organizing a cataract surgery camp at the Diamniadio center. It was a real eye-opener for many cataract sufferers who didn't have the means to access the surgery.
